What wine would you pick to go with a Mediterranean Vegetable dish like this Spanish Pisto con Huevos, or a Ratatouille?
For white, try a little known zingy citrus Cotes de Gascogne or Gers from south west France (Majestic, Waitrose and M&S all do good ones). It’s made from the Colombard grape and only 11.5% so you’ll not wake up with a sore head. If you want to go red, go for a juicy spicy youngish red Spanish Rioja, a crianza (made from the Tempranillo grape) always stocked at any good wine retailer.
For a quick and easy supper, find the Pisto on our new Spanish recipe page or at http://www.thriveonfive.co.uk/spanish-dishes#/pisto-con-huevos/
