Avocado is the new superfood according to coronary experts, the Metro reports today. Avocado is not only highly nutritious, it is particularly high in mono-unsaturated fats that help cut the bad cholesterol in our blood. Avocado is a very good source of vitamins E and K, it's rich in potassium, and high in fibre, which helps keep you full for longer.
Our Five-a-Day salad recipe this weekend contains an avocado mayonnaise, and we have a gorgeous guacamole in our new book out on May 7th.
